For a Sunday through Friday Mission trip
Check in to mission site sometime after 6pm - but can be changed depending on travel plans. Settle in and unpack (luggage should be very limited, this is a mission trip - we have one team that limits there luggage to one back pack so they can experience what most people live like). Orientation and devotion and preparation time for the week. Lights out by 11pm but can be adjusted…some teams don’t even get in till 1am Monday morning.
Don't worry - Coffee is brewing and a hot breakfast awaits you. You decide what time you want up for showers or devotions or some even do exercises.
Hot Breakfast (sausage and eggs, French toast, or bacon and eggs along with cereal, milk and juice and fruit…it changes everyday!)
Projects, ministries and activities customized to the needs, identities and skill set of your team. These times are talked about with you well in advance of your trip and finalized by at least 30 days prior to your arrival so you know exactly what you are doing. Our experienced staff and interns (maybe you have someone who would like to be an intern-have them contact us) are with you at every location.
Hearty Bag Lunch consisting of a ham/cheese or turkey and Swiss etc. (two pieces of meat), chips, veggies, fruit, dessert and drink. We want your lunch to be sufficient and healthy; but don’t expect to be “stuffed” - you are on a mission trip and overeating and hot temperatures are not good…be hydrated and bring sunscreen among your travel items!
These time frames can include projects, ministries or activities from construction to sightseeing. We provide you a site specific list to choose from and then we coordinate your trip along with your input. You can mix or match the week or run separate tracks if your group is large enough or has specific skills to necessitate the tracks.
Dinner on your own or we can prepare it for $7.50 per person per night. Many of our teams mix up the dinner schedule where we prepare a couple of “home cooked” meals from drinks to desserts; and then include a night of pizza or a hot dog supper with a local church, or at community park location where local people are served as well.
Have games, free time, or singing and devotions; or we can plan some night time activities for you - anything from service to sight seeing depending on what you desire. Put them all together for an amazing week!
Suggested Lights Out Time
